Last weekend the GB Trophy - a print competition run by the PAGB was judged in Yorkshire. The club entered both the open section and the nature section.  Once judged the top 12 scores for each club are used to decide who the winner is. You may recognise some of the judges - they were Paul Keene, Sue Moore, Stephanie Cook, Bob Moore and Tim Munsey.

In the open section we used images from ten authors and five authors were used in the nature section.

Dumfries came third in the open section with 156 points behind Chorley with 165 and Smethwick with 167. We were one point ahead of Inn Focus Group and nine points ahead of Carluke.

We fared a little better in the Nature comp, with Gordon achieving two 15's, the Tim Munsey Award for watching Mum and the "Most Like George" award (whatever that is!!) for Grumpy Sparrowhawk. Mick took the Paul Keene award for Predator and Prey and with an overall score of 160 we beat off Chorley by two point to win the competition.

The individual scores of the twelve top images for each section from all the clubs are attached below as are the full results for Dumfries.

Congratulations to all who took part.
