Dumfries Camera Club competes in several external competitions; at local, Scottish and UK levels - and they can be very confusing.  Maybeth will explain the various events and report on recent results.

The Awards for Photographic Merit (APM) is a distinctions process run by The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB).  Rod is the longstanding Chair of the programme and will explain the five levels of award, the adjudication process and show examples from successful applicants.

'Wish You Were Here?' is an opportunity to give a short presentation on a recent trip or holiday - it can be an AV or a PDI presentation with or without commentary.  We will also see some of the images from the summer outings.

This evening will formally start the 'Pairs Project' and set up pairs of photographers to work together over the next few months.
