Dumfries Camera Club competes in several external competitions; at local, Scottish and UK levels - and they can be very confusing. Maybeth will explain the various events and report on recent results.
The Awards for Photographic Merit (APM) is a distinctions process run by The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB). Rod is the longstanding Chair of the programme and will explain the five levels of award, the adjudication process and show examples from successful applicants.

CLUB DRAW TO-NIGHT
So far this year Anne Greiner won some consolation Tunnocks Teacakes in August (ball No. 24), with Laura Roadknight winning £17.50 at the beginning of September (ball No. 16).
Last week's draw was won by Sandra McNeil, having won the consolation chocolate the week before that.
So, this week is a fresh draw, with a fresh sheet.
£1 a go and 50% of the proceeds to the winner, or a small consolation prize to the nearest number.
