Wed 20 Feb 2013 7:30pm

Volume 2 of this CD describes the standard required to achieve the CPAGB and DPAGB Awards, profusely illustrated with successful pictures from the most recent Adjudications, is now available for Clubs (only) to hire from the PAGB Recorded Lecture Service. Although the title and advice slides are largely unchanged there two hundred new photos to see including some by Dumfries CC photographers!

Part 1, which deals with the CPAGB, runs for 25 minutes whilst Part 2, DPAGB, runs for 20 minutes.

With the recent exciting news that there will be an Adjudication for the PAGB Awards for Photographic Merit here in Dumfries on 1 December 2013 the committee agreed that we had a number of photographers in the Club capable of aceiving the CPAGB at least. We are planning some workshops where we can discuss your work and advise what might be necessary to get your pictures to the required standard. Since you would need to apply by about June at the latest we have changed the programme so that we can kick off with this excellent introductory talk.

Plus - The Lochmaben Trophy. A relaxed event requiring a panel of 3-5 prints on a theme which will be judged by members vote. They can even be unmounted although they are easier to display in mounts.

Final Hand In and Final Online Entry of the Titles for Round Four of both Print League Competitions.</strong> The Actual Prints may be Handed In tonight but your titles had better be there tomorrow!

<strong>Plus - A short presentation of the results from the Scottish Print Championship<strong>
