The night will start with a brief presentation about what judges might be looking for when faced with a club competition and also how they might tackle bigger events such as the SPF PDI Championship. We will chat about how they might approach selecting large exhibitions such as the Scottish Salon and the Edinburgh Exhibition. You will be introduced to "Silent" judging using a scoring machine and you will have an opportunity to have a go yourself on a range of pictures from all over the country - some great, some not so great. All this and much more in an evening you should not miss.

looking forward to this one - should be great fun - and educational.

I have done a fair bit of preparation for this so I hope you will all enjoy it. (I have even made an AV!)

Congratulations to Edmund Fellowes who won to-night's Club Draw. It was a rollover and the prize pot was £27.50.

Next week is a judging night = NO DRAW.

I hope everyone found last night to be both informative and fun. I thought Rod did a great job and got the balance just right.

I thought this was a great night, well worth considering for another night in the future..
