Between the Bridges. The Robert Burns Centre, Mill Green, until 12 May

I photograph this part of the River Nith, “between the bridges”, almost every day that I am at home and I post them on social media, where they attract a surprising level of interest from all over the world.  It can be a demanding challenge to make a different picture every day but the ever-changing weather, with the variation in the river flow, provides its own variety.

These pictures are largely taken for my own pleasure, but I am very grateful for the opportunity to exhibit them in the Burns Centre. I hope you will enjoy viewing them, as I have enjoyed making them.

Technical notes.    These pictures were recorded on my Aye Phone, processed in the phone using Snapseed software and then uploaded directly to social media.  For printing, they were imported into Photoshop, resized and gently tweaked.  All of the pictures are printed, by me, as giclée prints on specialist photographic inkjet media supplied by PermaJet.
